A French-Kenyan exchange project.
This T-shirt is the result of a unique cultural exchange project. NCI (Nouvelle Communauté Internationale), in France, worked with our partner WOPLAH and young volunteer textile design students in Mumias, Kenya.
The goal: to create a garment at the crossroads of cultures. An experimental workshop where young talents explored the meeting of European cuts and the richness of traditional African fabrics, sharing their skills and artistic visions.

This project was a non-monetary exchange platform, focused on sharing skills:
- An intercultural workshop: Young volunteer students from the Mumias community had the opportunity to work on a concrete project, combining traditional techniques and contemporary design.
- Showcasing know-how: The project highlights the creativity and talent of the young artisans of our partner community on the international stage.
- A hands-on experience: Taking part in this project is a valuable experience for these students, enriching their path and their portfolio.
