We work for a world where every young person has the power to become an active, caring citizen, beyond borders.

01Our mission
Our mission is to democratise access to international mobility and civic engagement for young people.
Nouvelle Communauté Internationale (NCI) is a French non-profit association (loi 1901) founded in July 2024 in Cenon, near Bordeaux. It helps young people aged 13 to 30 take part in Erasmus+ youth exchanges, European Solidarity Corps volunteering and solidarity projects between France and Benin.
We believe that intercultural experiences are essential to train tomorrow’s leaders and build a fairer, more inclusive and sustainable society.
02Programs
The Nouvelle Communauté Internationale (NCI) association actively participates in Erasmus+ programs to offer young people and youth workers opportunities for learning, exchange, and civic engagement on a European scale.
Youth exchanges allow groups of participants from different countries to meet around a common theme.

03A binational community
NCI was born from the shared vision of French and Beninese founders. This dual culture is our strength: it allows us to create authentic international solidarity projects based on reciprocity, mutual respect and lasting impact.
We don’t just send volunteers; we build lasting bridges between communities, fostering rich intercultural dialogue and balanced cooperation.
Our initiatives in France are mainly focused on raising awareness, citizenship education, and engaging young people in international mobility programs, particularly through volunteering and intercultural exchanges.
In Benin, we carry out field actions centered on sustainable development, education, and local solidarity. We collaborate with communities to implement projects with direct impact, promoting inclusion and capacity building.

This experience was a true revelation for me. I learned a great deal and realized the importance of international solidarity.

This experience helped me better understand the importance of international volunteering and the many benefits of civic and solidarity engagement.

This meeting not only opened my eyes to new perspectives, but it also gave me a clear vision of what I could discover during an International Volunteering mission.
